  • Ensuring flawlessness, transparency and truthfulness in product labelling and final packaging

  • Monitoring specified limits for prohibited substances through external analyses

  • Examination of supply chains

  • Conducting on-site audits, especially during the initial production of “ARGE BIO Standard approved” organic products

  • Limitation on the cultivation of identical products to conversion and recognised areas

Supplier evaluation

Supplier evaluation

As a result of our inspection, you will receive product-specific supplier evaluations. This allows food suppliers (potentially with the facility of the last processing step) to showcase their performance and the added values of the delivered organic product can be represented.

By highlighting individual strengths and areas with potential for improvement, the evaluation aims to motivate stakeholders for further development. Our supplier evaluation enables the comparison of different suppliers. Therefore, these evaluations can be used as indicators for purchasing decisions.

Example of an evaluation for a food retailer across 2 stages (contract partner with an external processing facility), illustrating the different assessments regarding the chapters in the ARGE BIO Standard V5. The safety aspect is included here to make it visible that all knock out and minimum criteria, and thus the safety aspect, are fully complied with.

Comparison of two companies to illustrate the differences in Chapter 2.5 Other Legitimate Added Value Expectations and Chapter 2.8 Organic commitment of System Participants at the sub-chapter level. In this form, it is also possible to go one step further into detail, compare more than 2 companies or highlight differences for specific (covered by the standard) areas of interest.
